About Najma
Brampton is my home. I have lived here since 2013, and I believe our city deserves leadership that listens to the everyday concerns of its residents.
With experience in e-commerce and business, and years of involvement in child care and supporting seniors, I understand the challenges faced by families, homeowners, seniors, workers and local businesses.
Government should make life easier — not harder — for the people who work, raise families and build their lives in Brampton.
I am running for Mayor because I believe residents deserve a leader who understands their day-to-day realities and is willing to work toward practical, common-sense solutions.

Practical Solutions for Everyday Brampton
These are the priorities I am running on — built around the everyday concerns residents have shared with me.
Help Homeowners Make Second Dwellings Legal
Many homeowners have created second dwellings to help accommodate family members or generate additional income. I will work toward a fair, practical plan to help homeowners bring eligible second dwellings into compliance, with clear guidance and a reasonable pathway to legalization rather than unnecessary penalties for those trying to do the right thing.
Affordable Grocery Options for Seniors & Low-Income Residents
I will explore partnerships and municipal initiatives that can help provide discounted grocery options for seniors and low-income residents, making everyday essentials more affordable.
Better Carpooling for Working People
For residents who commute to work every day, transportation costs can be a major burden. I will work toward more efficient carpooling programs and incentives that encourage residents to share rides, reduce commuting costs and ease traffic congestion.
End Overnight Parking Tickets
Residents should not be unnecessarily penalized simply for parking overnight outside their homes. I will work toward ending overnight parking tickets where practical and developing fair alternatives that balance residents' needs with neighbourhood safety and parking availability.
Safer Brampton
Families and seniors deserve to feel safe in their neighborhoods. Community safety will remain one of my central priorities.
Stronger Support for Families, Children & Seniors
A strong city supports people at every stage of life. I will advocate for stronger community support, opportunities for children and greater dignity and accessibility for seniors.
More Opportunities for Local Businesses
Drawing on my e-commerce and business experience, I want to encourage entrepreneurship, support local businesses and help Brampton become a stronger place to work and build a future.
Responsible & Accountable Leadership
Taxpayers deserve transparency and responsible spending. City resources should be directed toward services and priorities that make a meaningful difference in residents' lives.
Your Voice, Part of Brampton's Future
I am not running to make promises from a distance. I am running to listen to residents, understand their everyday problems and work toward practical solutions.
Whether you are a homeowner worried about your second dwelling, a senior trying to manage grocery costs, a worker struggling with commuting expenses, a parent raising a family or a small-business owner trying to grow — I want your voice to be part of Brampton's future.
Brampton is our home. Let's make it safer, more affordable and full of opportunity.
